This is a five year project launching in 2024.  The goal of The Water Forum is to create an annual, in-person invitation-only gathering in Los Angeles that can build partnerships to address solutions for our shared water challenges. To this end, River LA has already partnered with three key public sector leaders: Director Karla Nameth - Department of Water Resources, Secretary of California’s Natural Resources Wade Crowfoot, and Director Mark Pestrella of L.A. County Public Works to convene around water issues. This will be a full partnership of city/state/regional leaders and NGO’s.  The Forum will bring together key decision makers in California, Nevada, Arizona and Mexico to move forward with well-defined goals and solutions to shared water challenges.

Additional we want to ensure the success of our new Los Angeles and California water platforms that address infrastructure, community outreach and needs, equity, and programs being led by Prop 1 to build structure to capture, store, clean and reuse water.
